Radiography

Radiography involves passing X-rays through a subject to get an image
which shows up hard tissues like bone and metal particularly well but
can also image soft tissue to some extent. It is particularly useful
for investigating bone related disease. Digital radiography involves
using a computer plate rather than a film to pick up the X-rays that
have passed through the subject, and, with computer enhancement of
images, it allows excellent image quality to be obtained with low
levels of X-ray exposure, thus reducing the X-ray radiation and the
danger of secondary health problems to the subject and the operatives.
